Rounded coffins are suitable for cremation or natural burial, however for cemetery burials a more traditional shape is preferred.
We source coffins made from FSC approved, sustainable sources with water-based glues and lacquers, avoiding plastic and toxic materials where possible (see Environmental Credentials below).

Our primary UK-based supplier of coffins is accredited with the ISO 14001 standard, the internationally recognised mark for the environmental management of businesses, and has the following external accreditations and initiatives
The Forest Stewardship Council [FSC] is dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. FSC UK is a registered charity supported by NGOs including WWF, Greenpeace and the Woodland Trust.
FFMA trademark for the ‘Coffin Certification Standard’, where coffins and caskets are tested to ensure best standards and impartiality are applied.
When a coffin is sold with the Tree Tribute merit, [TT], a sapling tree will be planted to help restore, preserve and sustain wildlife.
Representatives from Traidcraft have conducted an assessment of our supplier’s business on location in Bangladesh and endorse all of the coffins and urns produced by Oasis as Fair Trade.
Where a coffin carries the ‘Plastic Free’ or the ‘Plastic Free option available’ symbol, the product is either entirely plastic free or comes with the option of being entirely plastic free.
