There is one spacious chapel at Mortlake Crematorium for hosting funeral services. It is surrounded by beautiful grounds, with flower terraces and gardens to the rear.
The crematorium is in Richmond upon Thames on the banks of the River Thames by Chiswick Bridge, accessed via Townmead Road, a turning off the A205 Mortlake Road (South Circular Road).
What Mortlake Crematorium offers
- Chapel: There is one Chapel seating 94 downstairs, with additional space for 36 in the upstairs gallery.
- Music: Music is organised using the Obitus Media system
- Visual tributes: There are portrait TV screens in-house where a photo or slideshow can be displayed.
- Webcasting: Available if required.
- Ashes: Gardens of Remembrance are available for scattering of ashes.
- Accessibility: Wheelchair access is available.

How much does a cremation at Mortlake Crematorium cost?
- Standard fee for a service (30 minutes of service time): £645
- Fee to extend service time by an additional 30 minutes: £325
- Reduced rate for services before 10am: £365 (20 minutes of service time)
